In 2008, Brad was promoted to managing director with them and moved with his family to the Syracuse area. His primary reason for moving into management is his love of coaching, and leading financial professionals. Brad realized early in his career the tremendous benefits this industry can provide for people. “As a financial professional, I could positively affect hundreds of clients. As a manager, in a leadership role, I feel that I can positively affect thousands of clients through recruiting, training, and developing new financial professionals.”
Having gone through the Strategic Coach program in Chicago several years ago, Brad discovered this passion for coaching, training, and developing financial professionals. He developed the following personal mission statement: “My distinct ability is to passionately coach, train, and develop financial professionals so they can reach their personal and professional goals.”
He was drawn to New York Life, as he felt that working for a Fortune 100 company would give him the tools and resources, he needs to continue his passion for coaching.
Understanding the importance of a mutual company and how this can benefit his team was a big deciding factor.
